Isabella Aureguy
I grew up in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and moved to California in 2019 to attend UC San Diego, where I got my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, and a minor in Environmental Studies. I currently am based out of Encinitas, CA and work as a Process Engineer at a food & beverage engineering design build construction company.
I am passionate about the environment and have a deep love for our Earth. When I was in high school I organized beach cleanups, and built and taught an environmental awareness program for kids. I studied engineering to be involved with the creation and development of solutions for that will positively impact the planet and people affected by the climate crisis.
Not only do I develop my creativity as an engineer to solve complex problems, but I like to further develop my creative side during my personal time. I love to host little get togethers and curate the space, food, music and energy, design invitations to bring together my community and celebrate life. I also enjoy writing, painting, coming up with new recipes, and arts & crafts. My other hobbies include playing outside (running, hiking, surfing, soccer, tennis, or just enjoying nature), and reading, yoga, arts & crafts, and exploring new restaurants, coffee shops, and destinations.
